June 19, 2025 — The smell of burning rubber, sizzling sausage, and sunblock filled the air as hundreds of car enthusiasts gathered under the summer sun for this year’s much-anticipated Rides & Rods Car Show. Hosted in true American steel-and-soul style, this show wasn’t just about muscle—it was about community.
Rat Rods & Raw Grit
The Rat Rod stole the early spotlight—raw, rusted, and roaring louder than ever. These rolling works of outsider art celebrated imperfection and rebellion, with weld burns, chopped roofs, and custom frames telling stories older than the VIN numbers they carried. The creative welds, the mismatched panels, the skull-shaped shift knobs—pure poetry in corrosion.
Bel Air Dreams and Chrome Elegance
From raw to refined, '57 Chevy Bel Airs rolled in with high-polish chrome and candy-coated paint job. Few cars hold a crowd like a Bel Air with whitewall tires, a continental kit, and a heartbeat that thumps smoother than jazz on a jukebox.
Ford Trucks: Built to Haul, Born to Show
Old-school Ford F-series trucks, from the ‘50s to the square-body '70s, were lined up like patriotic soldiers—each lifted, lowered, or perfectly preserved. Patina finishes showed off stories from family farms to coastal cruises, while newer restorations flexed fresh builds with modern mods tucked inside vintage bodies.
Camaro vs. Corvette: Chevy’s Showdown
It was a battle of the Bowties as Camaro Z/28s, SS models, and IROC-Zs revved beside snarling Corvettes—from split-window C2s to the sharp-edged beasts of the C8 era. Whether you're about raw acceleration or track-carving finesse, this show had something for every Chevy loyalist.
Adopt Don’t Shop — Caring Hearts for Paws
It wasn’t just about horsepower—it was about heart. Local nonprofit Caring Hearts for Paws set up an adoption tent, bringing out lovable dogs in need of forever homes. Amid chrome and chassis, kids petted pit mixes and labs, while one lucky shepherd pup found his new family under the hood of a vintage Nova.

Sweet Relief: Miele Italian Ice
When the heat hit peak, Miele Italian Ice came in clutch. Their push-cart line wrapped around the lot as showgoers cooled down with flavors like blue raspberry, lemon, and mango chili. Their classic red-and-white cart has become a staple at Rides & Rods—almost as iconic as the cars themselves.

A Family Affair of Grit, Speed, and Soul
Rides & Rods 2025 wasn’t just a car show—it was a full-blown celebration of automotive history, community pride, and local flavor. From rust bucket rat rods to pristine Corvettes, from dog rescues to Italian ice, every element ran on passion.
Mark your calendars—next year’s show promises to be even bigger.
